ECO 4
What is the ECO 4 scheme?
The ECO 4 scheme is the final stage of an ongoing government scheme designed with the aim of supporting low-income households and creating more energy efficient homes.
ECO 4 is scheduled to run from 2022-2026 and is expected to deliver another £ 1 Billion per year. This is a noticeable increase from the £640 million cost per year delivered within ECO 3.
The Government has proposed an introduction of an ECO 4 minimum requirement where properties that have a current EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) rating of F or G must meet at least a band D following improvement. Bands D or E are also to be included with properties required to meet a band C following improvements.
LMF Energy services have been installing Energy Saving Measures in homes since 2017 and have and are continually committed to delivering ECO across the UK in order to help meet government targets and assist those living in Fuel Poverty.
