At LMF Energy Services, we're always looking for ways to make a positive impact beyond the work we do every day.

This year, a group of our team members will be lacing up their walking boots and taking on one of the UK's most iconic challenges, climbing Snowdon, all in support of the North West Air Ambulance Charity.

Standing at 1,085 metres above sea level, Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales and presents a demanding but rewarding challenge. While reaching the summit will require determination, teamwork, and perseverance, our motivation comes from knowing that every step we take will help support a charity that provides lifesaving care to people across our region.

Supporting a Lifesaving Service

The North West Air Ambulance Charity plays a vital role in delivering enhanced pre-hospital emergency care across Cheshire, Merseyside, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cumbria, and parts of North Wales.

When someone suffers a serious injury or medical emergency, every second counts. The charity's highly skilled critical care teams, made up of specialist doctors and paramedics, bring hospital-level care directly to patients at the scene. Their rapid response capability can make a significant difference during some of the most critical moments in a person's life.

What makes their work even more remarkable is that the North West Air Ambulance Charity receives no government or NHS funding towards its day-to-day operations. The service relies entirely on donations, fundraising initiatives, and the generosity of supporters to continue providing this essential care. To keep its helicopters flying and its critical care teams responding to emergencies across the region, the charity needs to raise approximately £18 million every year. Every donation helps ensure that this lifesaving service remains available to those who need it most.

Why We're Taking on the Challenge

At LMF, community involvement is an important part of who we are. We understand the value of supporting organisations that make a real difference to the lives of people in the communities we serve.

The Snowdon trek gives us an opportunity to come together as a team, challenge ourselves, and raise vital funds for a cause that touches countless lives across the North West every year.

As we prepare for the climb, our team will be training, fundraising, and sharing updates along the way. While the challenge will undoubtedly test us physically, we know that the effort is worthwhile when it helps support a charity that provides critical care when people need it most.

How You Can Help

We're inviting our customers, partners, suppliers, friends, and wider community to support our fundraising efforts.

Every donation, regardless of size, will help the North West Air Ambulance Charity continue delivering its lifesaving service and ensure that specialist emergency care remains available to those who need it.
