ASHP Installation Teams – Labour Only
Due to continued growth and new contract awards, LMF Energy Services Ltd is expanding its network of experienced Air Source Heat Pump installation teams to support high-volume domestic and social-housing programmes.
We are looking for complete installation teams capable of delivering an ASHP installation from start to finish, including the plumbing/heating and associated electrical works.
This is a labour-only opportunity, with system equipment and installation materials supplied by LMF.
We have ongoing programmes and are looking to establish long-term relationships with reliable installation partners capable of delivering consistent weekly volumes.
Scope of Works
Teams will be responsible for the complete installation and commissioning of domestic ASHP systems, including:
- Installation of Air Source Heat Pump units
- Hot water cylinder installation
- Primary and secondary pipework
- Radiator installation/replacement where specified
- Heating system alterations
- Associated electrical works
- Controls and thermostats
- System flushing, filling and dosing
- Testing and commissioning
- Setting up and balancing the heating system
- Completion of installation documentation
- Comprehensive photographic evidence
- Customer handover
- Rectification of installation-related snagging
Installations will be completed in accordance with LMF-provided designs and specifications.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for established teams with proven experience delivering domestic ASHP installations, ideally within high-volume retrofit programmes.
Teams must contain appropriately qualified and competent operatives capable of completing the full scope of works.
Relevant qualifications/competencies should include, as applicable:
- Recognised plumbing/heating qualifications
- Air Source Heat Pump installation qualification
- G3 Unvented Hot Water
- Water Regulations
- Qualified electrical capability within the team
- Appropriate electrical testing and certification competence
- Knowledge of MCS installation requirements
- Working at Height and relevant Health & Safety training
- Own tools and suitable vehicles
- Appropriate Public Liability insurance
Experience delivering installations through ECO, Warm Homes, Housing Association, Local Authority or other large-scale domestic retrofit programmes would be particularly advantageous.

LMF provides the ASHP system, installation materials and design.
Installation teams provide:

The expectation is that each team can take an installation from start to fully commissioned and completed, without LMF having to separately source plumbers or electricians to finish the works.
