Experienced Resident/ Tenant Liaison Officer – Midlands - £28K - £32K + Vehicle
We are looking for friendly, organised and proactive Resident / Tenant Liaison Officers to join our team.
In this role, you will act as the key link between residents, contractors and our internal teams during housing improvement, maintenance or refurbishment works on projects across the Birmingham and Midlands region.
You will help ensure residents are kept fully informed, supported and listened to throughout projects. This is an important role that helps deliver high-quality services while maintaining positive relationships with the communities we work in.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for residents during planned maintenance or improvement works
- Keep residents informed about upcoming works, schedules and any potential disruption
- Arrange and attend resident meetings, consultations and site visits
- Support vulnerable residents and ensure their needs are considered during works
- Respond to resident enquiries, concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Work closely with site teams, contractors and project managers to ensure good communication
- Maintain accurate records of resident contact and feedback
- Help promote a positive experience for residents throughout the project
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has been working as an RLO/ TLO across large scale programmes
- Has excellent communication and people skills
- Is confident dealing with residents in a professional and empathetic way
- Has good organisational and administrative skills
- Can manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Has experience in housing, construction, customer service or community engagement (desirable but not essential)
Requirements
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Office or similar)
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
- Ability to travel to sites around the Birmingham/ Midlands area on a daily basis
