Supporting KIND Through Our 10 for 10 Initiative

At LMF Energy Services, our 10 for 10 initiative is about more than celebrating a milestone. It’s about recognising the responsibility we have to give back and support the communities around us.

As part of this journey, we’re proud to support an organisation that has been quietly changing lives for decades: KIND.

Supporting Children Who Need It Most

Since 1975, KIND has been dedicated to helping children and families across Liverpool and Merseyside cope with the effects of poverty and disadvantage.

Their mission is simple but powerful:

To show children that life can be different, and that they can be more.

Through a wide range of programmes and initiatives, KIND provides experiences that many children might otherwise never have access to. This includes:

• Holiday clubs filled with activities, learning, and support

• Christmas appeals providing food and gifts to families in need

• Ongoing programmes focused on wellbeing, education, and development

• And most importantly, residential trips that create lifelong memories

These aren’t just activities. They are opportunities to build confidence, develop skills, and experience a world beyond day-to-day challenges.

Why Residentials Matter

For many of the children KIND supports, a residential trip is something that simply wouldn’t be possible without charities like this.

Time away from home, exploring new environments, trying new activities, and building friendships can have a lasting impact. It helps children grow in confidence, develop independence, and create positive experiences that stay with them for years.

These moments matter more than we often realise.

Our Contribution

As part of our commitment through 10 for 10, LMF has donated £1,000 to KIND.
We’re proud to say that this contribution will go directly towards supporting their residential in May, helping more children access an experience that could genuinely shape their outlook and future.

While it’s one donation, the impact reaches much further, contributing to memories, confidence, and opportunities that last a lifetime.

The Bigger Picture

Across the UK, and particularly in areas like Liverpool, many families continue to face real challenges, with a significant number of children growing up in poverty.

Organisations like KIND play a vital role in bridging that gap, ensuring that children are not defined by their circumstances, but supported to reach their full potential.
